
Hassan Asmal
Hassan Asmal is a founder member of the firm and one of two partners. Apart from overseeing all aspects of architectural work on projects in his charge, he also oversees the overall administration of the office.

Malcolm Campbell
Malcolm Campbell is a founder member of the firm and second of two partners. Apart from overseeing all aspects of architectural work, he has specialised skills in linking architectural and urban planning practice to community development strategies, this involves incorporating communication systems, strategic planning project enabling structures and training support with physical planning.
Malcolm has done consultancy work for the United Nations (UNCHS) in this specific area.

1991 Awarded Master of Science (Economics) Degree in Urban Development Planning. University College London (Cum Laude).
1983 Awarded Bachelor of Architecture Degree. University of Cape Town

Has expertise in the use of earth technology in building production for which he underwent training at the University of Grenoble, France.
Prior to joining ACG, he spent ten years within the Department of Architecture, Peninsula Technikon, first as a lecturer and then as Department head. During this time he completed as private assignments, small scale residential projects and presentation work involving freehand rendered perspectives.
